How long does a breast augmentation last?

How long does it take to recover from breast augmentation?
Recipients of a breast augmentation can expect a four to six week recovery post-operation, with the first week being the most painful. Patients can expect swelling, bruising, and tightness in the first 48 hours, which the Bend Plastic Team will help moderate with pain and inflammation management strategies. Most people can return to light work after a week or two and begin to feel little or no pain at 3-4 weeks post-op as the bruising and swelling subsides. It is advised that intense exercise is avoided for up to a month, with full recovery and final results visible estimated at 4-6 months.
