Adam P. Angeles, MD, FACS

Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Angeles is the Founder and Medical Director of Bend Plastic Surgery. Since moving his practice in 2006 to Bend, OR, he and his team have offered a full complement of modern, state-of-the-art surgical, and non-surgical procedures. Dr. Angeles strives to match patient expectations to his skill set and is dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive care.

Training in both the U.S. and Europe, Dr. Angeles hones some of the most advanced techniques in his field. He continues to travel the world attending conferences and symposiums that further his knowledge and skills.

Teaching at several internationally renowned universities, his published work can be found in numerous medical journals while he continues to lecture throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Away from work, Dr. Angeles enjoys entertaining friends, photography, art, teaching, traveling, learning new technologies, and renovating his home.

EDUCATION

Dr. Angeles earned his undergraduate degree in general biology at the University of California, San Diego. During that time, he studied pulmonary physiology under microgravity for NASA. He then earned his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine while also training in general surgery. Dr. Angeles was a National Institutes of Health Fellow for two years where he studied the cellular basis of wound healing. He then traveled to the Dutch Burn Foundation in The Netherlands and developed dermal substitutes (artificial skin) for burn patients. Upon his return to the U.S., he completed his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in Philadelphia, training in breast and full body reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, and burn surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Surgical Expertise

Licensed to practice in OR, CA, and WA, Dr. Angeles has extensively trained in cosmetic surgery including breast lift and augmentation, abdominoplasty, face and neck lifts, post-weight loss body contouring, laser skin rejuvenation, hair transplantation, and much more.

He is the Attending Physician and Chief-Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Otolaryngology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and former Medical Director-Wound and Ostomy Care Center for St. Charles Health System in Bend.
